4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing

  • Supabase: Cloud database hosting for our church management system (hosted in the United States).
  • Resend: Email delivery service used to send church communications from noreply@newsongtn.cc.
  • Twilio: SMS delivery service used to send text messages.
  • Tithely: Online donation processing platform. See Tithely's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
  • YouTube (Google): Hosting and embedding of sermon videos.
  • Google Maps: Embedded map on our website for directions to our location.
  • Facebook (Meta): Social media presence and content sharing.
  • Vercel: Website hosting and deployment platform.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share information when required by law, to protect the safety of individuals, or to enforce our terms of service.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our monthly newsletter is sent to active participants who have opted in to receive it. You may unsubscribe at any time.

7. SMS/Text Message Communications

We may send text messages from +1 (423) 820-2049 using our SMS service provider. These messages may include event reminders, church updates, prayer requests, and other ministry-related communications.

In compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA):

  • We obtain your prior express written consent before sending you text messages. Consent to receive text messages is separate from consent to receive email communications.
  • Message frequency varies based on church activities.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You may also opt out by texting QUIT, END, CANCEL, OPT-OUT, REVOKE, or UNSUBSCRIBE, or by any other reasonable method.

  • Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of church membership, attendance, or participation in any church service or program.
  • We will honor your opt-out request within 10 business days and may send one brief confirmation message.

8. Children's Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website without verifiable parental consent.

For church programs involving minors (such as children's ministry, Vacation Bible School, or youth activities), parental or guardian consent is obtained separately through registration forms prior to participation.

Photographs or videos of minors will not be individually identified on our website or social media without parental authorization.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child's personal information was collected without your consent, please contact us at admin@newsongtn.cc and we will promptly delete the information.

9. Online Donations and Payment Processing

Online donations are processed through Tithely, a third-party payment platform. When you make a donation:

  • Your payment information (credit card number, bank account details) is collected and processed directly by Tithely. NSFC does not store your full payment card or bank account information.
  • Tithely is PCI DSS compliant and all financial data is transmitted via encrypted connections.
  • We receive transaction confirmation data (donor name, amount, date) for the purpose of issuing tax receipts and maintaining giving records as required by the IRS.
  • Donor information will not be sold, traded, or shared with unrelated third parties.

10. Photo, Video, and Livestream Consent

Church services and events may be photographed, recorded, and livestreamed. These recordings may be posted to our website, YouTube channel, and Facebook page for the purpose of sharing our ministry with the broader community.

  • Attendees at services and events may appear in photographs or video recordings.
  • Signage at our facility notifies attendees that recording may take place.
  • If you do not wish to appear in recordings, please notify a staff member or usher so seating accommodations can be made.

  • Photographs or videos of minors will not be individually identified without parental authorization.

11. Data Security
